BE OKAY WITH LOOKING STUPID
When I started writing online, many of my ideas didn’t make it to the timeline ‘cos I was scared they didn’t sound smart.
I’m just getting over this actually, as I still leave some ideas on paper without giving them the exposé.
I also had this fear of working out with people when I started my fitness journey. I was hiding my big belly, belly that God gave me.
It slowed me down as I was one man team. I wasn’t accountable to anyone in that aspect.
You may have stories like these where you let your ego stop you from doing what will push you forward.
You have to sacrifice your fear of looking stupid if you’ll grow. It’s a small price to pay if you ask me.
You’re just 22. No one expects you to be an expert in your field. Make mistakes.
The industry leaders didn’t begin as experts. ‘Every master was once a disaster’
Work hard so you make mistakes and learn from them.
The irony of this is that while you’re afraid of making mistakes, no one is actually watching to notice them.
